I do like some of the car info on MotorTrend, but the pricing part felt a little confusing. I thought I understood what I was paying for—well, I guess I mostly did—then I noticed a few extra details later that I wish had been clearer upfront. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but they really should make the costs easier to see from the start.

I tried using it for a bit, but it felt like every time I clicked on something, I got bounced right into a paywall. It started to feel like I was being passed around from one block to another instead of actually getting to read anything. Frustrating

I don’t know why, but I keep getting logged out all the time, and then when I try to reset my password it takes way longer than feels normal. It’s not like the whole thing is terrible or unusable, just more annoying than it should be, if that makes sense.

I thought this would just give me the usual basic car info, but it ended up being more useful than I expected. The details seem straightforward and honest most of the time, which helps when I’m trying to get a quick read on a car before looking into it further.

I gave it 4 stars because my Motor Trend bill was accurate and pretty much exactly what I expected. No weird extra charges or anything, which I definitely appreciate. The only thing was, uh, I had to poke around a little to find the billing details, but once I got there everything was clear.

Some of the alerts are actually helpful, but others pop up at random and don’t seem that relevant. It makes the whole notification experience feel hit or miss, which seems preventable with a little better filtering.

I had MotorTrend for a little while, but I just wasn’t watching it much anymore, so I decided to cancel. i wasn’t using it, wasn’t really getting my money’s worth, and it just felt pointless to keep paying for something I wasn’t opening.

The cancel page wasn’t too hard to find, which was nice, and I didn’t have to call anyone or deal with customer service. That part was a relief. Still, there were a few extra clicks, a few extra screens, and it did feel like they made me confirm it more than once, which was kind of annoying.
Overall, canceling was simple and only took a couple minutes, so I can’t complain too much. But the extra steps were unnecessary, the extra clicks were unnecessary, and it could’ve been even smoother if they just let you cancel right away.

The site looks good at first, but I had a hard time actually finding what I needed. The navigation felt messy, some pages took a while to load, and the ads kept getting in the way. I get that sites need ads and all, but basic usability should still come first. After clicking around for a while, I just gave up.

I canceled my subscription and put in a refund request. It wasn’t no same-day thing and took a few days, but support did get it sorted out. The money came back fine in the end, so I can’t really complain

I signed up thinking I’d use it for the shows and maybe read some of the articles, but it hasn’t felt worth the monthly price. Some of the content is decent, but there just isn’t enough new stuff to keep me coming back. The site works fine, but the whole thing feels a little more impressive in their marketing than it does once you’re actually paying for it. Lots of polished wording about value, but in real use, it just feels overpriced for what I got.

I check motortrend.com every once in a while, it feels like almost every article is shorter than it should be. I’ll start reading because the topic sounds interesting, but then it kind of ends right when I’m expecting the useful details to show up.

The headlines definitely do their job, but the actual posts are usually just basic specs, a few quick comments, and not much else. It feels like every car site does this now, where they tease a deeper review but mostly give you the same surface-level stuff.
It’s still fine if I just want quick car news or a fast update, but if I’m actually trying to figure out whether a car is worth buying or how it compares to another one, I usually have to go somewhere else. For real research, these articles just don’t give me enough to work with.

I used to feel like MotorTrend was straight with their reviews, but lately, I don’t know, some of the rankings and opinions feel a little too pushed. I still check it out now and then, especially if I’m curious about a car, but I definitely don’t take everything at face value anymore...

I check Motor Trend often because they always seem to have car news up fast. Like, new model reveals, recalls, auto show updates, I usually see it there before I catch it anywhere else. It’s easy to read too, which helps. Maybe it’s just me, but it feels like a reliable place to stay updated on what’s going on in the car world.

I’ve been using the MotorTrend app on my phone , and it’s been really smooth so far . It loads fast , I haven’t had any random crashes , and the videos play clearly even when I’m on mobile data . Finding shows is simple too . Overall , I’m happy with it .

I’ve gone with my gut on this one and I’d say it’s been reliable overall. Most nights the streams run smoothly, with just a couple of buffering hiccups here and there, but nothing that really frustrated me.
